One thing that I am realising is trying to stay on this good and balanced path is not as easy when you get back into the daily routine. Once I got back to my daily routine I was quite dormant in my journey and therefore my mind and soul felt dead! I didn’t feel fulfilled .My goal is to flourish in each and every area in my life bit by bit. So it was a good thing that recess was around the corner, so I could align myself back with my main goal of getting better grades. I felt happy that I was getting out of my routine that made me feel dormant, and started a new habit that would lead me closer to my goal. My habit I took up was to wake up early and go to the library at school for 3 hours in the morning, come back, and later on at night do 3 hours every day, except weekends. It really helped with preparation, and my marks were the best I had ever seen them.

So my advice to you is, during the lock down, take up a good habit or stop a bad habit. Work on the things you said you wanted to change, start eating healthy/workout to improve your health, prioritise your time for the things you consider important, learn a skill in your career field, try out a new study method, or even learn how to communicate with different people, unlearn a certain mind-set, etc.

Once you have decided on what habit you going to take up or stop. Always be real with yourself, and if you are falling off the wagon, check yourself, and get back on the horse, and learn to balance it back into your daily routine bit by bit. If know you cannot check yourself, ask your support system to check you, and support you back on your journey.

**Please stay safe and healthy, especially mentally during this time. I encourage everyone reading this to have a support system.
