2.Friday the 13th- Loved, Fucked, and Blocked

My decision to turning things around in my life all happened after my heart got broken, spirit shattered and worth devalued by an on and off relationship of 4 years. Let me tell you the background of my heart break.

I met lord voldemort (a nick name I gave him after my close friends were tired of hearing his name, so I named him lord voldemort because in the harry potter movies, he was the one whom shan’t be named, hence lord voldemort) during krekvars (a drama faculty festival) after a night of partying at Stones with my second year friends. As we were leaving to walk back home, he just popped out of nowhere and introduced himself, he asked to give me a ride home and I rejected it and told him it is Hatfield, everything is walking distance. Coincidently, when he was going home he saw me walking and got out the car and asked for my number, and I rejected him and continued walking. Next thing as I was about to turn the corner onto my street, I hear someone screaming my name, as I turned around I see LV running after me.

I allowed him to walk me back home and I gladly gave him my number when I got to my gate. After that romantic movie scene we battled with our feelings for each other, had conflicting interests and values, and time was never on our side for, 4 whole bloody years! And somehow I still managed to fall in love, get fucked and blocked by him through calls, smses, and social networks. The last two, happened on Friday the 13th. I shouldn’t have slept with him on bad luck day! Well the joke was on me, hence my journey to finding peace so I can laugh at this joke one day. I will not dump all the fault on him but I will take some (just a bit) of the fault because I allowed his behaviour, never stood my ground, tolerated a lot and therefore, leading to the demise of my self-respect and not being able to recognise who I was anymore, my inner self.
