If you have not read, how to meditate, then I suggest you read that post to understand this post. Thank you
Step by step meditation guide
1. Sit or lie comfortably.
2. Close your eyes.
3. Make no effort to control the breath; simply breathe naturally.
4. Focus your attention on the breath and on how the body moves with each inhalation and exhalation.
5. Notice the movement of your body as you breathe. Observe your chest, shoulders, rib cage, and belly.
6. Simply focus your attention on your breath without controlling its pace or intensity. If your mind wanders return your focus back to your breath.
7. Maintain this meditation practice for two to three minutes to start, and then try it for longer periods.

Storytime/feedback
Day 1- heh guys! LOL. I must laugh about this, don’t try meditating while lying on your back, did I not fall asleep and wake up an hour or two later LMAO. Hayi shame never again bazalwane (brethren/ colloquial- my fellow people)! So after I woke up and ate I instead sat comfortably and followed the how to; concentration meditation technique by focusing on breath. I set the timer for 5 minutes, and let me tell you, five minutes felt like a minute, it went by so quick! So I pushed myself and set the timer for 10 minutes, this time it was harder to focus on my breathing, my mind wandered and I had to keep pulling the leash of my thoughts back to the breathing like a dog going the other direction. After those 15 minutes I sat quietly because I enjoyed the tranquility of just being peaceful while my surroundings were busy. Tomorrow I will set the timer for 10 minutes and try wake up early in the morning, because I think that would be a nice way to start your day.
Day 2- okay so day two I didn’t meditate at all! I was so hooked on the book called a ‘the monk that sold his Ferrari’ I finished the book in a day! Truly a great book but I promise to definitely meditate on the third day!
Day 3- I started my day by meditating for 10 minutes, still felt long cause by the 7th minute, I was thinking so I decided to try another method of meditation where you think of a bad situation and then change the image of the situation into a good one. That method made me smile every time I thought of the good changing the bad, so you guys can try that out. I love the feeling of the stillness and quiet that surrounds my body and mind. LOVE IT!
Tip- If you are one to steam your face during these COVID days, you can slip in a meditation as you steam your face, I found that to be easier on the days I was busy.
