Is closure really helpful?

I am going to keep this short and sweet, because such goes in faster.

A definition of closure I heard recently: re-opening doors to TOXIC people and situations. That is CLOSURE.

As the old saying goes; TIME heals ALL wounds. All is capitalised for emphasis, meaning no matter how deep, how small, how bloody, how bare the wound is, time can heal all of that. Take my journey as an example, I never got closure from re-opening the door to him (more because LOL he blocked me, so that was out of my control) and so had to find peace with time. I’m not dead, I am alive, kicking and HAPPY because, through the tossing and turning and fighting my ups and downs alone, time never rushed me. Time allowed me to go through all the emotions. Time was always by my side. Time allowed me to be alone. Time allowed me to recognise myself again. Time allowed me to grow as an individual alone with no one else but myself. Time became my friend through this. Now time is allowing me to share the time I went through, to help someone else going through a time they might not understand, and just want that support.

Accept that time will always be by your side, and will heal your wound(s).
