The Train Ride

I was never personally aware of how much of a better person I can become just by listening to my spirit talking to me. Hence I truly am inspired with my whole heart to teach this to the next person who is willing to listen and take it to heart. I am about quality, not quantity when it comes to my blog.

In 2013 my father surprised the family with a trip to the U.S.A. We got to New York and explored its surroundings, food, and people. Then, we took a three-hour train to Washington D.C and I enjoyed DC so much more, and the men were better looking! The experience I wish to tell you that is linked to this topic, is the train ride back to NYC.

On the train ride back, it was full, and I was looking for a place to sit, and I ended up sitting next to this African American male. We introduced ourselves and spoke about the usual things when two people meet that are from different continents. We basically rubbished myths from both sides, and learned the facts about our countries and the culture. Anyways we spoke beyond that topic and our conversation flowed like we understood each other. We were on the same level, and didn’t mind speaking about taboo and even random things. Either way our conversation flowed for three hours (till we got to our destinations) and he was the perfect gentleman by even wanting to swap seats with me, because there was water dripping from the air-con onto my seat. We swapped Facebook details and ever since, we have been talking till this day. We learn a bit more about each other whenever we chat, things that open us to learning about our characters, as individuals but somehow our mentality is similar. I always had this inkling that we had this connection but as I read more on twin flames, I came to a conclusion about our connection…
