3. Kaizen- So, basically this is about living life without boundaries with all the things that you once said you were going to do, but have allowed time and excuses to stop you from putting them into action. I know that I have always wanted to be a professional dancer in all dance genres, tour the world with the famous dance companies, have people applaud me, and young girls look up to me and me just be proud of me, because I did what was my passion. My oldest brother told me, maybe when I am done doing my degree, I can go back to pre-professional dancing school. Unfortunately, time and creating fears have allowed me to put that in the past sadly and rather hope that one day when I have the money, I can create a pre professional dance school for those that are braver than me to live outside society’s boundaries and their owns.

Fear is created by setting limitations for yourself. A good example would be telling a child to try to do a somersault into the pool for the first time compared to telling an adult to do it for the first time, watch how the adult creates excuses that wire his limitations and breed fear. The book offers 10 radiant living rituals to practice kaizen:

1- “15 minutes of silence

2- exercise the body

3– eat healthy

4 – gain and apply new knowledge

5 – personal reflection

6 - start your day by rising with the sun so you do more than you planned to (THIS ON REALLY WORKS LIKE A CHARM OUT OF ALL OF THEM)

7 – listen to music

8 – spoken mantra (repeat spoken words into your soul and live them)

9 – build your character (self-image) “sow a thought, you reap an action, you sow an action, you reap a habit, you sow a habit, you reap a character, you sow a character, you reap your destiny”

10 – live a simple life (focus on the things that matter the most)”

4. Discipline- I know one thing for sure being disciplined is hard for me sometimes, so I always tell the next person to help me. In the beginning it is difficult but at the end it comes with ease. “Positive overcomes negative”. A technique that was suggested was to repeat a spoken mantra 30 times a day; “I am more than I appear to be, and the world’s strength and power rests inside me”; or you can take the vow of silence (not speaking the whole the day unless being spoken to directly to teach yourself discipline); or simply, wake up and do your bed as soon as your alarm goes off and don’t press the snooze button. These are just suggestions that do help me create discipline within myself and my word.

5. Time- “If youth only knew, if age only could”. Live your life like it is your last! In my early twenties I really thought I had all the time in the world. Now that I am in my late twenties, I want to live my life to the fullest but, I do not want to waste my time. So, when I think about living your life like it is your last, what pops into my mind is appreciation. Give your time to those that appreciate the value and respect of someone else’s time; and put yourself first a little bit more (as I am practising). You want to start a business, DO IT!

Summary: The time is now, DO IT!
